After more than twenty years in public safety, ten years in critical infrastructure inspections, and a Masters of Science in Critical lInfrastructure I am acutely aware just how important emergency preparedness can be. When I married and became a father I realized that assuring my family’s safety in this changing world would be a major priority. I have learned lessons from personally preparing and have also learned how to adapt those lessons to my family. I now feel that one of my purposes in life is to teach and share these lessons with others so that they may also improve their resilience for the unexpected.
